I admit I didn't have high hopes for this, but it actually performed pretty well! I used it to hold my bra straps in place so they wouldn't keep peeking out from behind my tank top straps - and it actually did the job. The issue is that you have to get it perfect on the first try - if you try to move it after applying it, either against your skin or against your clothing, then it won't stick anymore. So either it's in the right spot or you need to get a new strip out and try again.
This Fashion Tape is a lifesaver! It's double-sided and strong enough to hold hems and keep clothing in place without any sewing. I've used it to secure gaping blouses, keep straps in place, and even temporarily hem a dress. The strips are easy to use and don't irritate my skin. This is a great product to have on hand for any wardrobe emergency.
I got these with the hope they might be able to keep sheer compression stockings from rolling up at the top. Results on that are kind of mixed: Using just one strip simply does not work. Ideally it seems 3 or 4 each leg would actually be needed - but that would be insanely NOT cost effective.At $7-$8 per 50 strips - This would give like 6 uses so one would need about 5 packs per month for daily use which would be roughly $35-$50 monthly.So I then tried using just 2 each leg - It prevents the rolling SOME but it's not great. And getting them applied exactly right is actually quite awkward and tricky. So overall, for the degree of benefit vs the effort and cost, nah, these are a pass.HOWEVER! I did find a fantastic use for these! I was working with some particularly odd and slippery fleece and was about to go some miles on the serger with it. Now pins are NOT good to use with a serger for a number of reasons but this item really needed something to hold it together.I remembered I had these strips and used them to hold together the edge that was going to get cut off by the serger! They worked perfectly for this! And being used on the edge getting cut off gave zero concern over getting the adhesive on the needle or the knife! So for this purpose, I now want to keep a pack of these around!I did give only 4 stars though as while the serger use is great, it was not my intended use of these strips and it just won't work out well for that purpose

Not meant for long-term / permanent hold but good for a night out where you want your bra straps covered, want to cinch a waist in, or keep your top in the “up” position.I didn’t experience any issues with peeling or stickiness but I did notice it was a little bit less stick after sweating a lot. Overall I am happy with it I would just maybe bring extra with you if you know you’re going somewhere that you’ll be perspiring a lot. They were easy to remove and didn’t cause any irritation to my skin nor damage to my clothes.
I got these hoping to make a hem on some fabric and it does stick together, but it won't hold the seam together for long. One side is pretty sticky but the other side not so much. Might be better for avoiding wardrobe malfunctions.
This tape is very durable. It sticks well on both sides and is easy to apply. It held my wedding dress in place well!
I’ve used tons of fashion tape over the years and this brand works effectively…I’m busty and absolutely have to use tape when wearing my blouses, tank tops, etc. This tape does the job well, sticks and stays put all day/all night in my experience so far. And 50 strips is inexpensively priced for someone like me that must have a pack on hand in my drawer at all times!
I got these not only to hold my bra straps in place, my tops from falling open, and my underwear from riding up...I also use them to hem/gather clothing that is too large for me. I had a dress that the underarm area was too wide so I used this tape strip on the outside near the seam and folded some of the material over the top and stuck it there...creating a dart that took in the underarm so it wouldn't have a gab. Yeh me! It worked in a pinch, and I will always have some of these fashion tapes with me wherever I go.
This is my first time using fashion tape. I had a Christmas party to attend and knew I would need some help here and there to keep things in place. It worked flawlessly for the most part, but didn’t help me at all with my dress. To be fair though, I was wearing a velvety velour Santa dress and this tape wasn’t sticking to that thing no matter what I did.You’ll get 50 pre cut strips which makes it easy to grab a strip and attach it. The price seems fair compared to other packages I’ve seen on Amazon and it was easy to remove which I was worried about. Didn’t cause any skin irritation either.If you have a need for something like this, I’d definitely recommend, as long as you’re not wearing anything plush or velvety.

I used this to hem up a sleeve that was too long. instructions were clear and the the strips were easy to place. I am not sure how long these will last, as the adhesive is very light. If I find they don't hold up to regular use, I will update, but for now, I am satisfied.

It adheres better to the skin than it does to fabric, though. It doesn't stay in place on the skin for more than a couple of hours, so you need to re-check your fixes every so often. Not sure if that's worth it or not. It may be worth it for a short event where you won't be too strenuous, but probably wouldn't be great for a whole day outing where you're moving around.
