This makeup sponge 2 piece set is very similar to others I've used that come with several more sponges included in the pack at a similar price point. While the sponges perform as expected for makeup application, I rated them 4 stars because it ultimately fell short in terms of value.

Love these blenders. Especially the tiny one. Perfect for small areas. These are velvety and dense. Hard to explain the texture, but these are the good ones.Feels durable and doesn't absorb endlessly. My daily blender for sure.
These are two nicely dense makeup sponges. While they do expand somewhat when wet, they are designed to be used for both wet and dry makeup application. The sky blue color is a bit deeper (and prettier) in color than reflected in my picture. While it's nice that the larger sponge has a flat edge corner, it would have been nice if they had included that feature in the smaller (mini travel--as the listing indicates) sponge as well. It would make the sponge more versatile in the number of ways it could be used. Having said that, the sponges are well made and very smooth. While it's difficult to argue with the fact that these present as a quality product, I rate these as 4 stars primarily because they seem to be somewhat on the higher end of the price scale considering that there is only a single full size sponge (along with the single mini). As a side note, the sponges are advertised as latex free.
This is a set of two makeup sponges. One is perfect for foundation and the other for concealer. They are latex free and very soft. I use these instead of brushes for better blending.

This review is for the makeup sponges 2 PC set- makeup blender for beauty application large and mini travel sponge.The item claims to be good for both liquid and dry makeup. I tried it with both and did not find it preferable to my usual, which is the real techniques beauty blender. I use the powder sponge and the liquid blending sponge from RT.This item is soft and expands when wet. It gets nearly as big as the RT sponge when wet.I tried this product when wet with liquid foundation and when dry with setting powder.I found that the texture of this sponge just wasn't as preferable to me for application of makeup (wet or dry). It seems to have a more grippy or almost rubbery texture and not as easily or neatly blend liquid foundation as my RT ones and it doesn't have the best texture for applying and blending powder either.It can work ok but I think it would take more time to apply makeup with due to not being as good as the RT.Also, the RT duo of wet and dry makeup sponges is only a couple dollars more, or about same price when on sale. Therefore the price of this product still doesn't make it a great value when it doesn't perform as well.

I like how fluffy they feel and they apply my foundation and concealer beautifully. I would definitely consider purchasing again.

This is a really nice set of beauty sponges. I've seen so many of these, but just didn't think that I would want to trade my brushes in for these. Well, I'm really glad I gave these a try! These are soft and dense and have a great feel when applying liquid make-up. That's all I've used these for, so I can't attest to their application of other types of products. But they have me hooked now for my liquid makeups. They blend and apply so effortlessly, and there is absolutely no showing of lines or uneven application. It feels like I can get a lighter layer of liquid make-up on, with still the same coverage, but it does not show fine lines like it does with brushes. The larger one is what I use mostly, but the smaller one is so cute, and works really well for getting in the smaller places like around the eyes or the outside of your nose. I could not be happier that I tried these, and I would recommend them!
These sponges work fine for me, but personally I prefer a more dense texture. One unique feature is that the big puff has an angled flat surface, so you have a variety of surfaces to choose from to apply your foundation to your face. I don't find much use for the small sponge because I can use the big one for everything.

They plump up when you add water which makes for a very nice texture in which to apply makeup. The itty bitty one is great for under eyes and for concealer! The large one has a flat side that is nice for the forehead and cheeks. They have that "bounce" that I love when doing foundation. AND they didn't really have any chemical smell, although there is a SLIGHT scent to them, it isn't the "must deep clean before use".
My wife prefers sponges for makeup application all across the board: foundation, concealer, highlighter, and bronzer. She likes that the larger sponge has a flat side and the other is smaller so more effective for tighter spaces. They worked well and cleaned off easily.
